(according to me!)
My car had decided that it would flash the engine warning light, after dropping it off at the garage and being warned that the blasted machine might be costing a small fortune, I walked mildly depressed home. I took a detour in to town, there’s a Works and what better way to cheer up a depressed scrapbooker than buying more stash at low prices! (I realise spending money when the car was costing money makes no sense – i’ve been on a successful spending freeze recently which I also didn’t want to destroy so I gave myself a limit of £10)
These were my favourite bits:
£2 – 6×6 paper pad ‘super cute lots of Pink Yellow and Teal – which I am just LOVING at the moment. It has a bit of a vintage feel but the colours were still bright enough for me.
£1 each – sticker embellishments, I got this gorgeous set of two puffy hearts that have an iridescent finish to them and a pack of 12 glitter leaves in autumnal colours, I still have some 2018 pretty autumn layouts to do so these will come in handy. As a Cricut owner I can in future cut these myself – I keep forgetting I have a cutting machine *rolls eyes*
£1 each – 2 packs of beautiful sequins, they’re gorgeous iridescent colours and shaped too, not your average sequin. I was so drawn to these it was a little weird! They did have some pretty iridescent washi tape too – but I rarely use washi so there’s no point me buying it.
£2 – such a bargain; a layering stamp set, it produces a pretty layered rose and leafs and came with some small ink pads in three colours (not sure how useful they are!) But the flowers and leaves came out perfectly with my momento dew drops ink – I really am pleased with how cheap this was!
£2 – Alphabet stamps, so so cute they have tiny flowers and leaves making the shape of the letters, plus a few tiny stamps as well. They cling to my stamp block well and produced a clear image when stamped. They are perfect for spring and summer and I use alphabet stamps so much for titles these will definitely get plenty of use.
