One paper pad three scrapbook layouts!

I had a hair brained idea to try to use one paper pad to create three very different layouts – doesn’t seem that big of a challenge when we use paper pads all the time, but I limited myself to a very small number of additional embellishments. I decided on stamps, some coordinating water colours and letter stickers for titles every other embellishment had to come from the paper pad.

The 12×12 paper pad called ‘Moments’ is from the works and will set you back a staggering £3!!

This is a great cost saving activity and great if you’re trying to stash bust. It really engaged my creativity, resulting in 3 of my favourite layouts!

Here’s the first layout I created, this is a bit of a go to structure for me, adding torn / textured strips of paper either vertically or horizontally across the page. I selected a range of papers focused primarily on black and white. I added interest with cut banner ends, and punched out shapes I love to ruffle some edges and keep some edges straight for contrast. A splash of water colour to co-ordinate with with the paper. For this layout I added my title with stamping.

For this layout I went for a wreath design. I fussy cut lots of flowers and leaves from the paper pad and arranged them in to a heart shape for a bit of variation, I added a wood veneer and letter sticker title and some clusters at the top and bottom to break up the white space. Adding splatters filled any gaps and again broke up the white space.

This layout is super simple, I went for a cross design and added banner cuts to the end of the two strips of paper. The XOXO paper gave it a really graphic feel so I added to that with stamped black dots, stamped title and a doodle border in black pen. I used some scraps of paper from the first layout to back the photo and added some of the fussy cut flowers and leafs in three clusters around the layout to draw your eye across the page. I absolutely adore this layout, it was super quick and simple!
